Steve Harris PYO
Meon-Bye Farm,
Triangle Lane,
Titchfield,
PO14 4HB
Once on Triangle Lane please follow the roadsigns for the PYO, as the postcode takes you to the farmyard and NOT the picking fields.
Pets are welcome on the farm but must be kept under control at all times, out of respect for our other customers.
Dogs are allowed into the sunflower field and pumpkin patch to help you pick, as long as they are kept on a lead.
For health & hygiene reasons dogs – with the exception of guide dogs – are NOT permitted into the strawberry beds, or between the raspberry canes. You are welcome to walk around the outside of the field while the rest of your party pick though. We thank you for your cooperation.
There is plenty of parking available, including bike racks for anyone who prefers to travel on two wheels!
Washing
Strawberries and raspberries are very soft fruits. They dislike being handled heavily. Our fruit is grown in adherence to strict environmental policy, using natural pest control wherever possible, meaning the fruit doesn’t need to be washed before consumption. If washing fruit, please only do so immediately before eating.
Freezing
Fruit is best frozen the day it is picked. Simply hull and remove any blemishes, no need to wash. Spread the fruit evenly on a baking tray and place flat in the freezer. Once fully frozen, transfer into bags or tubs for long term storage and use within a year.
Raspberries freeze very well and can be eaten once thawed. Strawberries fare slightly worse and once defrosted loose their shape and texture, but are still perfect for cakes, jams and smoothies.
Are you a professional photographer hoping to hire the sunflower field for private shoots?
Please drop us a message on Facebook and we will get back to you with more information as soon as we can. Thank you!
We have a growing pile of lost property as things are almost always handed in when found in the fields. Please ring, or drop us a message on Facebook/Instagram, and we will endeavour to reunite you with your belongings.
School trips and coach parties must email to book in advance.
Please contact Mark, info@steveharrispyo.co.uk to organise your trip.
Sadly at this time we are unable to provide any land for metal detecting.
Thank you for your interest, unfortunately we don’t currently have any seasonal picking vacancies.
